Rickard beats The Rock to win All-New Ford Ranger

Rickard, a storage engineer from Pretoria, has won his very own All-New Ford Ranger 3.2 XLT Double Cab after taking the All-New Ranger to the infamous Moegatle 4X4 trail, and challenging The Rock.

Situated in the North-West Province, the Moegatle trail, commonly referred to as 'One of South Africa's three terror trails' by the 4x4 community, is renowned as being one of the most difficult and challenging trails with The Rock being the point where many seasoned professional drivers have lost both their nerve and vehicles attempting the incline. Unfazed by the reservations of the course instructors Rickard utilized his ever expanding 4x4 capabilities and combined that with the considerable torque of the Ranger to conquer the 45' incline that is The Rock.

Rickard's truly brave challenge clearly spoke to the adventurous nature of South African's, and he became a worthy winner today. Congratulations!
